Installed today. The unit looks well made and fits in my kitchen, Used only once so far and will rewrite review in a month. The installation was little tedious. I think instead of using screws, nut and bolt mechanism to hang the hood would be much easier.Using for over a month now. The light does not have two modes. Noise level high but tolerable. And I can not gauge change in noise level from low to high
I would recommend this to a friend!

The first unit I got was slightly dented. They were quick to respond with return shipping label and refund payment. The second unit ordered and received in excellent condition without further issue. Everything fit Perfect and works fabulous.

Nice exhaust fan

So far I like the vent hood. It's a pretty low profile one and has variable speeds for the fans which I like. Also the lights have 2 brightnesses to them, so I'm happy with that. It really lights up the stove when on full capacity. It does a good job on low, too. Now I just have to cook something to test out it's exhausting capabilities. Since I am still in the renovating stages it may be a while before I get to test that. Lol

Looks very nice, we decided to go with the open box possible damage and it had a little bit more visible imperfections then we thought, all and all it looks good .it does weigh a few pounds so I would suggest having two or more people hold it while it is installed my husband I where trying to hold it up when it slipped down and a part on it was sharp metal and sliced his hand open, we had to stop what we're doing to stop the bleeding to his hand, it was pretty bad ! So far I love the way it functions have only had it in for one day I will keep you updated in a few months

Installation seems unnecessarily inconvenient.

There are no brackets. I appreciate the multiple venting options, but the actual installation seemed silly. You have to remove the screens, then unscrew the fan cover, then attach with 4-6 screws from underneath in a very difficult to reach area. I needed a screw extension and flash light along with a very awkward position to get it into place. It wasn't a deal breaker but seems silly. I had to add pieces of wood under the cupboard to get the installation correct. A bracket would have allowed a much simpler installation.Quality of the hood once installed it actually pretty solid. Installation didn't take a huge amount of time, but it was twice the work it should have been. The instructions included using a lift. As you can imagine I didn't have one of those lying around.
