We really liked the look and controls of the range hood. Installation was smooth . We tried cooking fried fish and with our earlier range hood we had to open all the doors and windows to not let the smell trap in but with this rangehood we didn't need to do that. We cook a lot of curry based Indian dishes and it has performed well. Glad that we made the decision to purchase Hauslane. The stainless steel look integrates well with our grey kitchen.

Very impressed with the quality of parts and materials. The lights are the right color (warm amber LED) and the stainless steel is bent and put together very well - (no pinches or holes in corners). The grease catch filters are of stout build with a thick aluminum chunk-handle.. I especially like all the clean wire looms that are nicely insulated and zip tied at proper points with proper clips for each internal component - great Quality Control overall through the whole unit. Well worth the price tag. In other words - this could pass for one of those "big names" with HUGE price tags.... Highly recommend this product and would buy another without hesitation. The fact that I broke a piece at my own fault at time of install and the service department sent me a new piece free of charge in two days was simply outstanding!"

nice piece we had little bit of difficulty to install and there is a bit of gap around 1 inch behind the hood as our cobinets were already installed.

I've had the product now and stall for about a week and is running great it was easy to install the only issue I have with the unit is the aluminum flap that the air exits the rear of the unit when it's above the lowest setting it rattles extremely bad other than that it's been a great unit one other issue is the LED lights that comes with or on the red side of the spectrum hope this review helps you make a decision

The only complaint I have is when I lose power I have to go to my breaker box and are toggle the breaker switch off and on to reset the fan

The dual fans have 6 speed levels and are very quiet in the lower 2 settings but gets louder as you increase the speed (but not insanely loud like our old one) but it's to be expected. If you possess decent DYI skills & have the proper tools, self-installation is possible. I would classify the installation difficulty as moderate only because the weight (approx. 41 pounds) of the unit requires at least 3 people to situate it properly

Installation was a headache but nice range hood

It took contractor and me half a day to try and fit a 6 in pipe on 6 in outlet of hood and install. We needed to get an additional piece to transition into pipe, as 6 inches in China apparently doesn't fit into a 6in pipe here. However, once that is achieved, the hood fits the 12 in deep cabinet perfectly, which is one reason we bought it. The fans and 6 levels of power seem nice but might be overkill as not a lot of difference between adjacent adjustments. Owners manual leaves stuff out. You cannot hard wire and need to make or use an outlet, though manual shows hard wiring and no plug. The grease pan is found in box but isn't mentioned in manual. Tape on all parts to protect on shipping need removed. Stuff like that. I have not used the fan in my home yet as we are remodeling, but it looks nice and fits wonderfully and seems to pull air in house. If they fixed the fittings for 6 in install and manual, it would be greatly improved. 2 yr warranty should be adequate I hope. Also, I hope the fan is as strong as advertised at 800 cfm because they are pretty quiet for that strength. Seems to be nice product at this early juncture.
