Solved a cooking issue for us.

We are in the process of making changes to our kitchen to accommodate the way we cook, the microwave fan above the range simply was not getting the job done. As an example we seer lamb chops on top of the range and finish in the over which creates a lot and some and sets off the smoke alarms. We relocated the microwave and installed the Hauslane PS 18 range hood using the outside vent…..problem solved !
We have had range hoods in out last two homes, I believe this is the best one we have owned. Very nice looking, easy to keep the filter, just put the baffle cleaners in the dishwasher. I think the price was vey good considering the performance amn features. I certainly recommend this product and would purchase agin if the need arise.

Small kitchen Upgrade make a BIG Impact

#1 compliant I had about my kitchen was inadequate ventilation. A kitchen full of spice and sometimes smoke from the center grill or stovetop ruins the best planned parties. I selected the vent because of it's high CFM (air velocity) to remove smoke and spices from the air. My wife only cared about its modern style, no filter, ease of cleaning the baffles and drip pan. I also recommended it to my brother when we remodeled his kitchen.

great fan, installation ok, no battery for clock

the product is fine, the fan powerful, the light are bright and replaceable. My dogs don't like the chime of the fan selection but they will have to learn to live with it. the installation went well, I followed the great installation video instructions, but the two screws in the back was really a.... contest, let's just say I used some bad words. I had to lay down on the counter that is how bad it was. The day after the install we had a power blip and that is when I realized I bought the wrong product, there is no battery backup for the clock... 2026 and we still don't have engineers that can think about such a simple thing, humanity is doomed lol. So yes the product works really well, not sure what can be done for the screws in the back because of the fan enclosure and the tight spots, but because of the clock thing in 2026 I would not purchase this product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I’m really impressed with this Hauslane range hood. The suction power is fantastic and easily handles heavy cooking and smoke without any issues. It looks great in the kitchen, feels solid, and functions exactly like it should. Definitely recommend it.

Excellent Range Exhaust Hood

I am very impressed with the quality, looks and venting power this unit has. It exhausts well and helps greatly to remove cooking smells in the house. In addition, having a gas range I feel safe knowing any combustion gasses have been sucked out to the house. The led lights are bright and illuminate the stovetop area very well. Also nice is the 6 level adjustable fan settings and the ease of cleaning the filters either by hand or in the dishwasher. I would recommend this venting system to everyone.

High quality hood at an affordable price

We’ve been using this fume hood every day for the past five years, and it still looks brand new. The baffle filters and grease tray are super easy to clean, which makes maintenance pretty painless.
The shutdown timer is one of those features you don’t think much about at first, but once you have it, you really appreciate it. Overall, it does a good job clearing smoke and odors, though it can struggle a bit when you’re doing really hot, smoky sears.
We installed it using the rear 3-1/4" x 10" exhaust instead of the top 6" duct, so that might be holding it back a little. Even so, it works well for most of what we do.
Customer service has been great—they usually get back to emails within a few hours. I’d definitely consider buying another Hauslane product.
