Upon looking at the unit out of the box, one can easily recognize that the build quality of the unit is exceptional. The quality of the materials used far exceeds that of many other units costing far more! The controls are very intuitive and work well. (I wish the on-off switch had tactile touch to it so that it can be turned on easily in the dark.)
All the parts were included and the unit went up relatively smoothly.
The only other downside to the unit is that there isn't a variable switch to control the lighting on the unit. It's very bright but sometimes that's a useful thing.
The unit is built like a tank with its stainless steel look and the controls for the time and fan speeds are pretty intuitive to use.
Overall, I'd give the unit an AAAAA++++ and wouldn't hesitate in suggesting it to anyone looking for a new range hood!

I purchased this after viewing it on Facebook. I had been to all of the big box stores and seen what they had to offer and all I could think of was, how cheaply they were made. After researching them and the company I was glad to see they were being made and shipped from the US. I was surprised at how heavy it was but that is because it is well made to stand the test of time. The only problems I had with installation were, the placement of the hole for the power cord in the instructions is wrong, along with the size of hole that needs to be drilled. Also, the screws that are supplied for mounting were way to long and had to make a trip to the hardware store. The ones supplied would come through the bottom of my cabinet on the flush mount installation. After I installed it, I was even more impressed at how well it works and the overall appearance. I highly recommend this range hood.

Wonderful purchase. The customer service was excellent. The hood looks very nice and works beautifully. So glad I went with this rather than the standard hood from a more well-known brand. We have a family of 10 and cook most of our meals from scratch. My kitchen is a work room. I have been very impressed with this product!
