I am very glad I brought this range hood. With a good price that cannot compare, it is an amazing deal, one that I am very grateful. Upon installation, it a efficient and easy to use product. It adds to the minimalistic vibe of my kitchen. The touchscreen gives the range hood a very sleek look, something I appreciate very much. I bought this range hood in September, and since then it has been working well. The power and light on the hood work well.

Our previous stovetop exhaust suddenly died on us recently. We had purchased that particular one years ago at a big box store and to be honest, it was "fine". That said, the difference between fine and our Hauslane product truly is amazing! It looks beautiful and so much more professionally designed. I love it so much and am grateful we purchased it!

We received the hood a couple of weeks ago and installed it ourselves. The hood looks great in the kitchen, gives it a very nice and sophisticated look over the range. Operation is quite smooth and it's great to have six options for speed. Switching speed is a bit noisy, you can distinctly hear a click, but that's minor. The hood is pretty powerful at top speed and will get rid of all vapor or smoke in the kitchen. It's also great to not have to deal w/ knobs and buttons, everything is done via it's touch screen. Also great that you can remove and clean the filters right away in the sink nearby. All in all, it's a very well thought out product and you won't regret the purchase. I definitely recommend it.

Only had it for a few days, so don't know how long it will last. Looks nice in our kitchen and fit the space of the old one perfectly (very important as we have a tile backsplash). It took our handyman 3 hours or so to install but we need a reducer for the vent since our vent was 7". Fairly quiet at a low speed but quite loud at high speed. I doubt we will need the higher speed very often though. The lights are good and bright.

This beautiful unit replaced a microwave/exhaust fan combo that had pitiful exhaust capacity. The installation was somewhat complicated, and we ended up running a new 6-inch exhaust fan through the attic, but that was not the fault of the Hauslane exhaust fan. The PS18 is superbly designed and built. Everything is heavy duty and well thought out. I couldn't wait to try it out. The first thing I did was boil water on the front burner to see how well the fan draws from the front of the stove. WOW! Removed everything on the lowest fan setting. I progressed to frying bacon...a true test. It performed beautifully on the second (of six) fan settings. I love cooking without fear of setting off the smoke detector! I can't imagine I will ever need to use the 5th or 6th exhaust fan settings unless it is just for a short time while searing meat at high temperature. Even then, it is very quiet. When you install the fan with the round exhaust, be sure that both leaves of the damper are able to close. There is a small rubber bumper that the leaves of the damper rest on. During the installation one of the damper leaves got nudged on the wrong side of the bumper. Easy fix. If you seal the connection well, there will be no leaks. Everything about this fan is well thought out. I have two suggestions for improvement: round the edge of the front corners (I am tall enough that I could hit my head shifting from working at the counter to working at the stove) and make the lights dimmable. And, yes, there is plenty of light to cook by. I debated wheter to buy the PS18 or the next model up. I made the right decision with this unit. It is more than adequate for my application. Buy it, you won't regret it!!!

I bought the Hauslane after much consideration of other products on the market. The fan was a more cost effective option than many in-store vent hoods, and with quick free shipping and great reviews of this product, I was happy to give this company a chance. I love the fan, I think it works great, and it was not too hard to install though it took time and patience.
