Very good build quality, excellent finish
works very well, is actually quieter than our old combination extractor/microwave and much more efficient at extracting oily vapor from the kitchen to outside.
lighting / display is also excellent.

Only minor grumble is that there was no installation template provided. I ended up making my own using foam-board. Install went smoothly. I used bolts rather than the provided screws to be more secure.
I would totally recommend this product...

A Must Buy foran Asian Kitchen

We had the 30 inch PS18 model installed today. Works beautifully. On high the exhaust is mildly noisy - will get used to it.
The curry smells are gone. WOW!
Just a bit surprised that with so many people loving this product AND making an issue of the two rear screw mounting units; the engineers have not found a solution.
We mounted ours with toggle bolts. Took a few minutes.

Great looks but noisier than expected

Love the looks of this range hood and the ease of the controls. It is somewhat noisier than I expected. My husband and friend did the installation and if we were doing it again, we would have it professionally installed.

This is a powerful range hood, and it’s one of the few matching the dimensions I was looking for, however, the touch controls are not very intuitive.

Quality Product

I like the "professional quality" of the UC-PS18. It is heavy duty and has two motors and 6 speeds. That is what I wanted and it is quiet running and well built. I had high expectations and they have been met. It came with all parts for configuration to different styles of vent duct too. Almost too much to ask for but like I said, "professional quality all around". Also included was a cleaning towel that removed fingerprints from the stainless as well as the touch screen. We like it.

shipped to us on June 10 2021. Just had it installed today, finally. everything works and it vents through the cabinet right outside, will love having cooking grease and odors vented. House is 27 yrs old.

High Quality Hood

Excellent quality and construction of the unit itself. Instructions were clear and easy to follow, and hood is easy to operate and very powerful. The only recommendations I have are to move the back right mounting hole and power cord away from each other slightly, as they are very close to each other which can create a problem using the mounting hole if the hole you cut is not precisely where it needs to be. The second recommendation I have is to allow for adjustments of the brightness of the light. Very happy with how it looks and operates!
