I was very disappointed in this printer. I am replacing an Officejet 8710 that recently quit and I thought I was buying one that had similar specs and it is not quite as good. I don’t like how it overly saturates the paper to the point that it curls. It doesn’t print as fast and it doesn’t scan double sided. I use this in my classroom and I just feel it is not going to be able to keep up. I’m so upset that it cannot be returned.
Difficult to pair with HP computer and wireless network.

A little difficult to pair it to my HP computer and my home internet, but after several attempts it worked. The printer works very well once it is paired with the wireless connection, but it wasn’t seamless. Nevertheless, it a very good and responsive device.
I took a little getting used to this unit after using my 8600 which was more a business unit. After learning how to apply HP smart everything worked out fine helping me scan to computer. I just took a little time getting used to that. Now everything is working fine I love getting my ink without worrying about ordering.
I am still having trouble getting this to print from my iPhone. Had someone help me do a software update on a printer that I just purchased and am still having trouble. Have to find the time to sit on the phone again to try and get this figured out.
I have always purchased HP printers. I have had some issues with the last one that I purchased and it is made cheaper than my last printer which I loved. I am disappointed with my new printer.
Easy to setup and be productive. Transition from earlier HP printer includling HP ink was seamless. Pairs with my HP laptop to make a topnotch workstation.
