While I would appreciate a second HDMI port even more, a display cable will do and I can have 2 external displays allowing me to get more work done. I was happy to be able to use the USB C to USB adapter and have the internal display technology allow for the 2 externals

I bought this docking station so I could use my two HP monitors and switch easy between my work laptop and my personal laptop. Both PCs, I havnt tried my Mac laptop, but its supposed to be compatible. I liked that it came with a USB adapter because my 2015 HP laptop doesn't have usb-c , I bough two displayport cables on advice from HP Help (not HDMI cable with adapter) for the monitors since they said, it would work better, and so far perfect. easy setup. I am the envy of my friends and family when they see my home setup. Makes working from home even better!

It's nice and it works much better than without a dock. The major flaw is on wake from sleep. Sometimes the windows get garbled on resume from suspend. The window outlines are sometimes pixelated wrong, and sometimes applications appear covered in rainbow speckles. It's impossible to know what's responsible, the OS, the dock, the monitor itself. Would have thought using an HP dock with an HP laptop would have helped but ... oh well.

This dock made it possible to have my home office to work seamlessly. My business laptop can now utilize 2 HP monitors, a wireless mouse/keyboard, a VOIP phone, and a wireless headset. Easy to set-up and reasonably priced. Well Done HP!

It was quick and easy to install. Main reason I got it was to have dual monitors, and so far its great. Doesn't take up a lot of room, lap top is out of the way, and the dock is easy to reach to plug in USB keys. Absolutely recommend.
