Great docking station when it works

This is a great docking station when it works. But at least a third of time when I connect my laptop to the docking station, the contents of my laptop do not transfer to my external monitor and it doesn't work. I have to shut off my monitor and reconnect the docking station multiple times to get it to work.

Display port does not work with my monitor, unable to to update drivers - as it a work laptop and is locked down. The
Hdmi works, but l am limited to one monitor and was hoping for two. Will have to see if new laptop will work better. Bought docking port as it is the only approved hardware that I could use with new laptop which I am waiting for :(

The docking unit extends the functionality of my ZBook Studio G9 laptop. The downside is that it impedes mobility by making things somewhat cumbersome...heavy and bulky and requires an additional power supply.

I bought this to connect a HP laptop to 2 monitors. Little did I know it had no connection ports like D-Sub/10 pin ports to connect, only 1 HDMI, and 2 ports to connect to don't know what.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
