I purposely purchased the more expensive HP cartridge, so I wouldn’t have to deal with the chip not being read by my printer. Unfortunately, I placed the new cartridge in the printer and it promptly shut down due to an unreadable chip. If I put the old cartridge back in it works. After numerous YouTube videos and searching websites a solution has yet to be found. Am I happy? No.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hello Julia,
Thank you for completing the troubleshooting. In this case, the printer works with other cartridges. Therefore, the issue is specific to the current cartridge. You have two options. First, you can reset any recent printer updates. Second, you can replace the cartridge by returning it to HP at www.hp.com/us-en/shop/cv/returnsandexchanges.
The toner is great, the convenience of delivery is helpful, the timeliness of the delivery adds to the fact that this is the easiest and best way to get the quality product wanted.
