Not sure what to say, I'm a home user ,new to this form of printing and its cartridge. If the frequency with which the software asks you to reorder cartridge, compared to how long said cartridge continued to print, if this disparity proportional to sales tactics, then can build case in favor printer/software warnings purely sales gimmick. Recommend weight the cartridge, compare to full, and go from there
