Hi,
I am sorry that you got so few pages from the cartridge before the low ink warning. Unless those were some very high-density prints, you should have been able to print many more!
Provided the cartridge is not damaged or defective, the toner usage will determine how long it will last. High-density prints (such as photos) will require more toner than text-only documents.

Just replaced my first cartridge in this printer (Color LaserJet Pro MFP M281fdw'). I never received a user manual with it and have not been able to find it on the website to download. I figured it out and it was really simple but I would really like to have a user manual for this printer.
