Great desktop mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Staples Black Fabric Desk Mat was incredibly easy to start using—I just took it out of the box and I was good to go. I love how it eliminates the need for a separate mouse pad since it covers the entire area for both my mouse and keyboard. My keyboard is noticeably quieter now that it's sitting on this mat which has been a nice surprise. I've also noticed that it takes in a bit of sound so when I record my podcast there's a some noise reduction that I appreciate as well. The feel and texture of the mat are excellent making it a great addition to my workspace. There's also some sort of material on the bottom that keeps it from slipping around so it stays where you put it. Overall I’m very pleased with this desk mat!

Quality Desk Mat

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Staples Brown Faux Leather Desk Mat came rolled in a small box. The mat however laid flat shortly after I took it out of the box without curling which was nice. The mat itself had light chemical smell when out of the box but it went away on the same day. It has a gripped backing that keeps the mat in place. The mat surface feels like almost real leather with its fine brown color and texture. It made my boring work desk look really stylish and expensive.

The perfect addition to a work space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been wanting a mat for my desk but was never able to decide on one…. In steps the Staples fabric desk mat. It has been perfect. It’s black so it blends in well and is large enough that I’m able to keep my keyboard and mouse on it. I have had an occasional spill on it and the waterproof coating makes clean up a breeze. There is a coating on the back that keeps it in place and there is not curling of the corners. Overall I’m very satisfied with this mat!

Will add a nice touch to your workspace

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was unaware of how much I would fall in love with this desk mat. As you will see from the photos I provided the desk area in my home is granite and it’s so cold year round! Adding the fabric desk mat was a game changer. Now as I type my arms are resting on the mat instead of the desk. No more cold wrists! Truly a first world problem but I’m glad to have found the solution. This huge desk may not only makes your space look classy you can say goodbye to your mousepad! I really enjoy the new look of my desk. I went to see what other options in colors they had because I would like another one for another desk in my house. If I had any complaints at all it would be that they don’t have an abundance of colors to choose from. I am highly satisfied with his mat! It is cozy yet sturdy!

Attractive and functional desk mat

The faux leather is a great contrast with my white desk for a defined work space - Size is perfect. The mat is large enough for my laptop mouse and writing pad. - It rolled almost completely flat right out of the box. - It wipes clean easily (my homeschooled kids have put it to the test!) - My Bluetooth mouse works perfectly on it! There are never any skips like with some other mats. Cons: - There was a strange smell from the mat when I first opened it. I had to let it air out in our garage for a day or two since I’m sensitive to smells. - While it rolled *mostly* flat right of the box without corners turning up I can still see a bit of waviness when looking at the mat Overall I would recommend this mat for its size durability aesthetic and functionality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great desk mat. While it's made of faux leather you really can't tell. The mat looks sleek and also feels very durable. One of the things I really like about this desk mat is its size. It’s large enough to accommodate a laptop mouse and other essentials. It's significantly larger than other desk mats I've used in the past. Additionally I like how the mat provides a layer of protection for your desk and the non-slip backing prevents it from moving around. In terms of the material it seems to be well-constructed with stitched edges and is super easy to wipe down.

Great mat and addition to my desk

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mat is a great addition to my work from home setup! The large size of it allows me to keep everything that I work with from my laptop keyboard and mouse to my notes organized and gives my desk a clean effortless look. The texture and feel of the mat is nice - it is smooth while also having a slight grip to it so items stay put. The brown color is a bit lighter than I was expecting but still looks sharp against my desk. Overall I really like it and can see myself using it for a long time! The only thing I don't care for about the mat is that it had a strong chemical odor when it arrived. It took about 3 days for the smell to go away and now I don't notice it.

A desk upgrade you didnt know you needed

It’s so big it covers a most of my desk and does a great job protecting the wood from scratches and spills. It has room for a laptop a mouse and pretty much ALL of my desktop accessories. The material feels smooth doesn’t slide around and adds a stylish touch. I really like the brown faux leather. It’s practical (easy to clean) and looks great which is a win-win. If you’re looking to upgrade your office space this mat is it!
