Too narrow if my docking station didn't lift the laptop up. Sides would have blocked ports

This stand allows for more room on my small desk for some storage. For example I keep my desk calendar and stapler under it.

I have a 30-inch monitor and this raises my laptop (I use that monitor next to the larger one) up to the same level as the large monitor so that I don't have to keep raising my head up and down to look from one to the other. It also has room underneath to stash whatever you want.
