We have dual monitors so we have side by side stands. We like that the space underneath is still available for desktop items like stapler tape dispenser post it notes paperclips etc under one & paperwork can easily slip under the other if need be. Some monitor stands are bulkier and box shaped taking all that area away from the desktop area.
This is the 2nd one I've purchased. One is used a stand for my monitor and the keyboard fits underneath. One is also being used for the grandkid's room with Nintendo on the bottom and VCR/DVD player combo on top.
This stand is exactly what I was looking for. Although it is not adjustable it was the perfect "lift" needed for my monitor so that I was not looking down all the time. Now my monitor is in my direct viewing and allows me to have better posture/neck angle. Would recommend to others as this improved my workspace and workday tremendously.
