Lift your monitor!

I purchased this riser to bring my monitor to a more comfortable level--so that I do not feel like I am always looking down! This helps with my posture and seems to be better for my back neck and shoulders. I realize some space under the riser on my desk! This is a space for private notes and messages that I need to accomplish before the end of the day... After I was so pleased with my first riser I realized that I could do the same with another monitor that was just a little too low for me to always see fully-- I am very happy with my purchase(s)! They look professional and are just what I needed! Thank you STAPLES!

Does the job

I was actually looking for a stand to elevate a small flat screen TV above a cable box and DVD player. This monitor stand does the trick for a reasonable price. What I dislike is that the surface is tilted back a bit rather than horizontal. Not sure why - there would be no advantage to that design if I were using it for a computer monitor. Much better to let the monitor stand firmly on a horizontal platform and be tilted up if desired on its own hinge.

Great riser for monitor

Ordered this on sale for $12.99 great bargain and it serves it's purpose well since my monitor does not adjust for height. It's almost too tall but I really like the additional space it affords and it does give a much more comfortable viewing position.

It's Perfect

I got a new computer and monitor at work. The screen is large but much lower than my old one. I wanted to bring it up a little so I could look up rather than down at the screen. I checked the Staples website and found this great inexpensive monitor riser. I called our local Staples to be sure it was in stock. A helpful employee pulled one from stock and had it waiting for me. What a difference the 4" rise makes! There is even room now to store something under it if desired. There were other more expensive ones with drawers but I like the clean look of this metal riser. So glad I found it!
