It's a great product very sturdy good quality and looks really nice on top of the table. I use it to hold a 23" touch screen monitor and it holds the monitor very well whenever the screen is touched/swiped. There's a smaller riser that can easily hold this monitor size but I picked this up due to its width. There is plenty of room below the riser where I can push the keyboard mouse keyboard armrest headset and pretty much everything else so it makes the desk really neat and clean. I definitely recommend this product to anyone.

We are actually using this to raise our tv above the cable box. It is a perfect height for the tv and gives plenty of ventilation for the cable box. We love it. It's actually the second one that we have purchased.

It is a metal stand. There's not much that can go wrong as long as there is no shipping damage. Check measurements. If you buy it in a physical store you can inspect the condition before the purchase is made.
