I just got rid of an old computer desk and got a new desk without a ledge for the monitor. I like this monitor stand. It brings my monitor to eye level and give additional room on my desk. It's sturdy and I would recommend it.

Perfect "low profile" height but shakes while typing

I wanted something that would raise a non-adjustable monitor up to the max height of my second monitor. This is one of the few that did not go more than 4" but also had enough room to put my laptop underneath and not take up a ton of space. It does all of that well. However with only two legs and a more "flexible" body the monitor shakes while I type on my keyboard. I think I will go back to the 3M models with the plastic body and four legs.

It raises the monitor by the height of two Merriam-Webster dictionaries which is what we always use LOL. But it is stable not a distraction and creates some new space on the desk under the monitor.
