Was looking for something to hold my Brother HL-5250 laser printer. It seemed everytime the printer needed paper my desk was full of paperwork that I had to shuffle around to get the paper tray open to refill. This raises the printer enough to fill the paper tray without moving anything on my desk. The printer hangs over by about 4" but I put it in the center so it only hangs over 2" in the front and back and it's sturdy enough to balance the weight of the printer which is about 22 pounds.

I purchased this item to raise my laptop 5 inches higher on my stand-up laptop stand. Without it the height was too low and causing a crick in my neck from having to look down. This riser solved my issue.
