Good concept but has a few flaws

Solid construction with no assembling needed. Ready to go out of the box.Wide enough to tuck an average notebook underneath but too tight for MacBook Pro and similar widescreen Windows PCs. Platform has a 5-7 degree tilt to the rear. Beware if you pull it towards you as it can flip your monitor off.

Perfect height

The height raised my 19" laptop the perfect amount to place a wireless keyboard underneath and still allow for me to type without having to pull the keyboad out and slide under when finished. Matte black finish and grille top are very durable allowing for air flow/movement. LOVE this product.

I put my laptop and cooling pad on top this much better air flow my wireless keyboard slips right under for space saving goodness.

My back & neck don't hurt any more!

This Staples Monitor Riser is the perfect solution to my back & neck pain that results from hours a day spent sitting at the computer. This Stand raises the monitor to the proper eye level preventing me from bending over and forward in my chair. I am able to sit well back into the chair and hold my head/neck up in proper alignment; thus relieving stress and avoiding 'the daily computer neck/headache.' The platform of the Stand provides space to put some office supplies; and the open base design allows me to keep usable desk space underneath. I highly recommend this product to anyone who spends time at the computer.

I purchased this stand to raise my 21" monitor more in line with my vision. This has been great and provides more desktop useage for me.
