My 1st experience with robot vacuum. Did a lot of research & so glad I chose this one. Awesome app. Cleans great (including cat crystals) & empties bin effectively. Reasonable time to clean & seldom gets stuck (chair legs).

Cleans well, but the App has problems, and the Robot gets stuck for no reason.

First regarding the robot itself, it cleans bare floors and carpet well, but it has had errors. Example, we mapped the 1st floor as needed to started out and then had it clean the floor once. Then the next time we send it out to do a full clean, it went down the front hallway and rammed into the hall closet door over and over again for 10 minutes until I picked it up and moved it and gave "threshold error" on the app. Nothing changed between the mapping and when it got stuck!
The app is not intuitive. For example, if you want to create a new room, you can't just create a boundary line in space where you want it and save it. If you do, it will just "ERROR" with no explanation. You have to subdivide a previously created room and then subdivide again.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My Honest Opinion (Q10 S5+)

My Q5 Pro had much less technical flaws than my new Q10 S5+. The Q10 gets stuck in places it shouldn't get stuck, then goes into error mode until I get home to free the helpless heep. It does clean well, empty into it's trash bin somewhat decently. But it gets stuck everyday as to where my Q5 Pro never got stuck.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Extremely Disappointed

It gets "stuck" on straight walls. It fails to reconnect to the dock 50% of the time--it'll connect and even show that it's charging, but then move away believing that it still needs to find the dock until it runs out of battery.
We bought this after having wonderful success with the Roborock Q7 M5+. The design for the Q7 M5+ for connecting to the dock is way better. My Q7 M5+ has none of the same issues with the same space.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great, except for one issu

Does a very good job with vacuuming and navigation, but severely disappointed in the self-empty feature. Cat hair will not empty from the dust bin, requiring me to pull the filter and manually empty after every cleaning cycle. I tried all of their troubleshooting--it just doesn't have the suction to pull cat hair effectively from the dust bin.

Bought one for me and one for my parents

One son came back home and brought his cat. And then the other son came back home and brought his cat. And then my husband bought me a cat.
I bought the Q10 S5+ and loved it so much I bought one for my parents.
It brings some sanity and cat hair control to my life. I docked one star because the instructions aren't as clear as they could be around setting and differentiating between rooms and zones, as well as using the vacuum on different floors. Other than that, it's been wonderful.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Don't buy this rubbish

This is the biggest lot of rubbish. Please don't waste your money on it. But a manual vacuum as it will with faster and save you a lot of frustration. I'm tech savvy but cannot get it to complete one cleaning without it getting stuck in the middle of the floor.
