The Brew ID feature works most of the time. Sometimes it doesn't read the label on the pod and defaults to a generic brew. Other times it doesn't recognize that a pod is in the brewer at all! In addition the customer representatives seem to read from the same script so if your problem varies from the solutions they have, then they have no idea how to proceed. When I finally got someone who would do the warranty replacement, they sent the wrong coffee pot. I had checked the web site within an hour after the representative placed the order and called back to ask them to send the correct pot. Even though it was within an hour of the first call, I was told that they would have to wait until they had a tracking number so they could retrieve the first order before they could place a new one. The CS rep said there was no way to cancel the first order! The whole process was unnecessarily long and frustrating. I had some trouble connecting the new Smart coffee pot because I didn't know I had to delete the old one from my account before I could connect the new one. It would be helpful to have this information in the instructions that came with the new Smart coffee pot.
enjoy the ease of the single serving. love the reservoir on this one. so easy to refill.

This is the third brewer of this model that I have received with each having a different issue. This one is not calibrated correctly and distributes smaller than indicated ounces.
