I really liked this brewer but now it says to descale and I already did it.. and I am doing it again and the descale light keeps flashing. I followed the directions on the bottle too.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

3rd try with the K-Supreme Plus

Hopefully, this 3rd coffeemaker will last; the first 2 lasted only days with different issues. This one, received a couple of weeks ago is ' good-to ok'; the Mini-Plus worked much better and for a long time. I saw this commercial several times and liked the ability to have the water available. This one has a couple of issues that I will live with since Keurig has been kind enough to replace the 1st two. Issues: Splatters coffee all over a fair amount of the counter; doesn't always recognize the 'favorite' selected; doesn't heart the strength picked all of the time - 85% is correct; otherwise only mid-hot...I don't understand this, but I've tested it several times; it's easy to tell when this is happening since you only receive that 'commercial - smell the aroma' when it's working on the full temp mode. The most curious is that (1) it always starts out w/~10 seconds of water; but after a cup is made, say you're making tea or just hot water...coffee grounds from the already removed K-cup come through. This is frustrating and a 2nd try is 100% of the time needed; I'm not in favor of this but don't know how to by-pass the need for 2x to get a cup of hot water without grounds...not a lot, but it shouldn't really be many. I asked a Representative if I should descale the brewer and was told not to until the recommended time.
We've had a Keurig 2.0 for a couple of years and really loved it. But when I got an e-mail introducing us to the K-Supreme Plus, I just had to get one to check it out. The new technology is great, you can personalize it to your tastes and preferences. Really happy with our purchase.
Right off the bat, I’d have to say this coffee maker makes great coffee! It’s a great improvement over my last Keurig, due mainly to the multiplayer ports that spray water on the coffee grounds in the pods. I also like the lower profile of this machine. I’m very pleased with this purchase.

This is just another in a long line of Keurig's I've had but far and away the best! I love that I don't need to wait forever for it to heat up in the morning. Love the great selection of sizes and strengths AND the awesome feature that allows me to keep up to 3 favorites. That being said I am confused and dismayed that the machine did not come with clear descaling instructions. I had to spend a lot of time searching for directions online and found them but can not understand why such instructions would not be provided with the machine.

Works great until descale

This brewer worked great for 4 months. Then it needed descaling. In the middle of the descale cycle it just died. No power. Tried everything. That seems very odd. Thankfully Keurig sent another one under warranty. But no coffee for 3 days while we wait.
