You have to descale the unit. Since I just received it I have not had to descale it. But I will certainly let you know when I get there and what happens.
I really love this coffee maker and I am hopeful that it will perform longer than my previous one. I am grateful to Keurig that they offered a replacement because this coffee maker is so user friendly and brews a great cup of coffee. Thank you Keurig!
Coffee Maker did not turn on. I called the Keurig number and went through a few Trouble Shooting steps with the representative who then gave me directions for receiving a replacement. Directions were also sent to my email. Super simple ! Just need to give four pieces of information. I did it online in less than 15 minutes. The next day, an email came asking about my receipt. I responded. The next day a representative informed me that she was authorizing the replacement Coffee Maker tk be shipped out. BOOM! The next day I found the new Coffee Maker at my front door! Amazing! I expected to wait several days! Actually. I was so impressed with the whole replacement process I was hoping a representative would call to ask about the service. I wanted to let the company know that its customer service is quite impressive. I have never experienced such ‘‘turn around’ action. Very professional, knowledgeable , kind people represent this company . Outstanding!
We have had several Keurig coffee makers. Particularly like this one for it’s smaller size, but able to make multiple cups without filling the water reservoir every time. One and only issue is “splatter”. For some reason there seems to be more coded splatter on the counter with this model than envy other that we’ve had.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Completely dead already!

Worked an hour ago. Now completely and utterly dead. My last Keurig lasted a few years. This one just over a year. I have tried everything from unplugging and replugging, checking power supply, etc. and it is totally unresponsive. Power light is out and pushing buttons does nothing. The one thing I have always hated since the day I purchased it is that it SPLASHES like crazy. Coffee everywhere up to 3 feet away.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
