My coffee maker failed within the warranty period. It only took one phone call and some over-the-phone troubleshooting to determine that. Keurig agreed to replace and did. Just wish it could have been a bit faster, but overall, it was a positive experience.
This is a beautiful coffee making machine. Features and the ability to program are superb. We love this device. There is, for us, one huge drawback. For years we have obtained our coffee from Chock Full O' Nuts.Their pod desigñ is a fiber basket containing the coffee and a paper top. When closing the Keurig lid there should be a reassuring crunch sound as all five needles break the paper surface. There is an incompatibility between the Keurig needles and the paper top of the coffee pod. The result is failure to brew coffee and an abundance of leaking hot water. Failure rate is six out of ten which means we are discarding two pods for every cup of coffee. This doubles the cost of coffee. Machine replaced with single needle model. Sorry, Keurig; good idea but not universally applicable.
It clogs after a year or so and water leaked. No way to fix it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Even Worse Replacement

We bought this Keurig to replace another that failed after a year, right outside the warranty, go figure. It worked ok for a couple of months. We followed all recommended maintenance and filter changes to ensure it would last. However, it brings me here. This is now THE slowest single-cup coffee brewer. A mere 12oz takes 6-7+min to brew? If you have to brew coffee quickly to get out the door, I would not recommend it. Not all is bad, it does have a better setup than the last as well as some cool features with strength and temp. I'm disappointed in Keurig these last couple of years. Quality is lacking and prices keep staying where they are. Time to check out the Ninja ...
Love the smaller design, and the programmable cup sizes.

Great brewer with only one flaw

This is the second brewer for me. I asked for a replacement because My K cup was leaking water. When I got my new one I was sad to see the problem was still there. I have removed the red piece and covered the lid with aluminum foil and that has slowed down. Has anyone else solved this problem? I love this coffee brewer for all of its great features, (small foot print, no heat up time, quite brewing, personal brewing memories)
