Another Keurig miss

Bought this brewer to replace my old B70 that was beginning to act up. The multistream technology does nothing much to improve the brew. Side by side comparison with the B70 yielded about the same flavor. The one-button brew-and-forget feature works well, and it's an improvement over old brewers. The preference buttons save time. However, after so many years of producing brewers, I can't understand why Keurig doesn't offer an option to save one's favorite cup/mug size: Push and hold a button, star brewing, and release the button when you've brewed the desired amount. Save that amount as a preference. The strength setting seems to just slow down the water flow through the K-cup. Brewing times will increase the stronger the setting is.
I've been cleaning the five exit needles this brewer has after each brew as I often see coffee grounds attached to them. Four needled are made out of metal, but the center needle is made out of either ceramic or plastic. It doesn't look very robust, and I expect it will break at some point. Maybe it's my imagination but the tip of the center needle already looks slightly bent after 2 weeks of use, leading me to believe it's actually made out of plastic.
Another miss is the drip tray. Its height is not adjustable like Nespresso brewers. This is why this brewer is getting 2 stars from me. When it brews, it makes a mess as coffee splatters all over the counter. You need to find something to raise your mug/cup close to the bottom of the pod holder.
If you like to use your own coffee, this brewer is not for you, yet. Any reusable K-cup holder you might have won't work with this brewer as it needs one with five holes on the cover. None are available in Amazon yet at the time of this writing. The only option is Keurig's new Universal Reusable Coffee Filter which is a complete disaster. I understand Keurig is in the business of selling K-cups, but there's no reason why a team of engineers can't design a reusable cup that doesn't leak. You will need to buy aftermarket paper filters or you'll end up with a significant amount of coffee grounds in your coffee. Then, make sure you elevate your cup up close to the bottom of the cup holder because this thing leaks. Water just pours out through the gap between the filter basket and the filter holder. I was able to minimize the leak by adding a very slim rubber gasket I got from one of my old aftermarket reusable cups. I put the gasket around the top of the filter basket. It's not perfect, but I least I don't get a brew that's half coffee and half hot water.
Finally, if you're looking for a brewer that can generate coffee "crema", buy a Nespresso. Unfortunately, Keurig brewers have never generated sufficient pressure to generate that coffee foam coffee aficionados often seek after.

Not working

Bought this machine a couple of days ago and just turned it on today, it powered up for a minute and than shut down and will not turn back on. I have had issues with another model, so back to the old workhorse Keurig. Very disapointed.

This is my 3rd or 4th Keurig. This one is even better- immediate brewing without waiting for the water to heat, 5 instead of 1 needles to puncture top so better water flow and ability to customize strength and temp by family member.

Bought the supreme plus keurig a few weeks ago and could not be happier! Love the settings to make it hotter, bad intensify the flavor of the pod. Also nice to have a big water reservoir. highly recommend- best of the keurig dive bought and I’ve had several over the years.
