Although the unit works well, the add I used to purchase it showed a photo of a clock on the unit. A built in clock or timer as portrayed by a "time" indicator in the advertisement..? Wah..? There's clearly a "12:00" number in the print ads, where in all reality the "Strength" and "Temp" setting readout shows... Part of the reason I purchased this model was the timer oprion..? There is NO timer or instruction to set a time. The picture is a phony...

I have had this coffee maker for a couple of weeks and love the flavor of the coffee. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that I find the feature of setting for individuals using the coffee maker to be less than satisfactory. Mine does not hold the settings.

I'm a bit disappointed that the hot temperature is not so hot. I also didn't know you have to buy filters for it. Why wouldn't distilled water work. Last thing is 12oz barely fills a coffee cup 3/4 full- why didn't they put a 16oz option on it?
