Keurig is headed in the right direction with this design. The reservoir is much easier to handle, fill, and replace than earlier models. The hinged lid with simple drop in design for the K-Cup is also easier to manage. Turning "on" automatically when the lid is opened is appreciated. The five water spouts occasionally push some grounds out the top, that concept needs more thought. When the brewer is "off" it is still keeping water heated, I'd like a true on/off switch to save energy when not in use, instead I have to unplug the brewer.

Descaling a problem

I have had this machine for about 6 months. I like that is makes larger cups of coffee and iced coffee. What I do not like at all is the descaling that needs to be performed monthly. The descaling solution is costly and despite following the online instructions to a tee, my efforts (which took hours) have not been successful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have only had this brewer for about 3 weeks. I have been amazed at how much better the coffee is compared to our old Keurig. This is using the same brand of coffee.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent brew unit. Coffee tastes so much better - must be the multi-stream technology. Would highly recommend to others. Plus, the sleek appearance is much more appealing as it sits on the counter.
This my 3rd Keurig! I absolutely love it. The coffee is so flavorful with the new features. Thanks for helping me get my old one working again. My great granddaughter has become the proud owner of the old one.
