I bought this about six months ago for our new home. I've had many wine fridges in the past and definitely happiest with this one! It stays cold looks great and fits a good amount of bottles. Would definitely recommend it

Nice looking unit but noisy

I purchased this unit 8 months ago and unpacked it and thought it looked great and fit perfect in my counter cutout. The unit stays at temp nicely but the last few months has begun making noise when it cools. When the compressor runs it makes a squeaking noise several times during the compressor cycle. At first I thought it was fine and I could get used to it but the more I hear it the more frustrated I get. I sent a recording to customer service and they told me that they were normal sounds for the compressor to make. I am just not buying this answer and would like New Air to do something about it, as I am still in the year warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Freezes wine-

This wine fridge is the one of two we one. One is a dual control while this one is single temp, primarily for our red wine. For random reasons the temperature resets to 42 degrees and this freezing our wine, including a bottle of Stags Leap Cask 23 (2012) Cab. Let's just say that this wine fridge has ruined more money in wine than its cost of purchase, which wasn't cheap. I called Newair about 6 months ago complaining and the rep had no fix and little sympathy for the wine resetting the temp. Needless to say we will not be buying newair going forward which is unfortunate since we custom built our cabinets around these fridges, just hope that another brand fits.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great and fits perfect in the space I have. The shelves slide out easily allowing access to every inch of this spacious fridge. It’s also super quiet so you’ll barely notice it running.

The fridge operates as you would expect but I wish the temperature display would have been in the middle like a small model that I already own. The fridge is also a bit on the loud side and sounds like it is constantly recirculating. Not sure if that is normal or if perhaps something is wrong with the calibrator. It chills by bottles though and has a sleek modern look so I like it for that.

We love our wine cooler

With our son working in the wine industry and studying viticulture we decided to step it up and treated ourselves to a wine cooler. We had decided to make use of a space under our stair case and, after a lot of research, we decided on the NewAir wine cooler. We couldn't be more happy, the chiller is completely quiet, very stylish, and has nice LED lights when we want to show it off otherwise is very understated and works great in our dining room.
