I bought this for my husband for father's day and so far he really likes it. No problems with the humidity like he's had in the past with other humidors.

Great Seal, Solid Temp Control

The unit arrived in sturdy packaging and initial setup was as simple as plugging it into the wall. I was a bit nervous at first, as there was a bit of an odd plastic-like odor upon opening the unit door. I let the unit sit open for several hours while running the fans to clear the smell, and then seasoned the shelves and let sit for about 24-36 hours with boveda packs of my selected humidity (69%), and set at my selected temperature (70 degrees). Everything normalized in that time period, and has held steady for several weeks now.
I added about 20 sticks after the first 36 hours, and within an additional day the unit developed the typical delicious aroma you'd expect. Unlike other desktop humidors I've tried that have very poor seals, this unit has maintained a very consistent humidity and temp level. Sitting in my home office, the summer temp fluctuates about 10 degrees from 72-82 during the workday, depending on my thermostat settings. The unit maintains the programmed temp throughout these fluctuations. My digital hygrometer has the temperature within .1 degrees of the units measurement, so accurate there as well. So from the perspective of control and consistency, everything has been solid. In terms of look and feel, the SS exterior is visibly appealing, and the blue internal light adds a modern and appealing look.
On the downside, the unit has a very specific shelf setup that doesn't allow for variability. Not really an issue for me, as my collection isn't vast or extensive, but I could see this being an issue for someone with more boxes, whereas I tend to have more singles. Secondarily, the internal hygrometer has been a bit inconsistent. I've measured it against a trued digital and it was a bit off. After adjustment, it's gone off again; all in all, don't expect it to be spot on consistent (mine is off about 5% RH). Not a deal breaker by any means, but if there had been a digital hygrometer installed in place of the analog, I'd have easily given this 5 stars.
