Maybe something is wrong with mine.

I’ve had this unit a little over a month now and it’s erratic. I’ve read reviews that says it’s awesome but mine isn’t. The temperature fluctuates and I guess that’s to be expected but the humidity jumps around for no apparent reason. It stays shut it’s in my office. Right now the unit read 65 degrees but the digital hygrometer reads 72 degrees at 54% humidity. I’ve tried the sponge soaked with solution as well as Boveda packs. While I’m not an aficionado I do have 2 boxes of Cubans and some Monte Cristos I’d like not to mold as some have started doing. i bought this unit because all the reviews spoke of how easy it was to use, so far it doesn’t feel that way at all. If anyone has suggestions I’d love to hear them.

Worth every penny

Bought this because I love in southern California where the temperature of the house is 75°+ year round. Was running my A/C just to cool my cigars. This beautiful piece has saved me time and stress. Works great.

Works fine. Temp display seems off

Setting temperature to 68 via adjustment buttons and the temp displays winds up at 63. Not sure which is accurate. Other than this it has worked fine since purchase.

Fantastic Humidor

I bought this unit on sale. Man what a deal. You basically take it out of the box, set your temperature and your good to go. After several months of use, I haven't had the need to add any Boveda packs, the seal is that good. Adjustimg the temperature requires the push of a button. I have spent thousands of dollars on a few very high end humidors. Don't get me wrong, they all work well and there is a certain romance with having a nice piece of furniture to stash your smokes. This little unit does the job and comes with temperature control, a real please out here in the desert.

Switched from a traditional cedar humidor to this bad boy and I'm very satisfied. It maintains the temperature and holds in humidity like a champ.

I have been looking for a high end humidor that I could afford and NewAir has the most amazing prices for the best products. I consider myself somewhat of an aficionado and love smoking and sharing cigars with my significant other and friends especially on special occasions. This humidor is for in my opinion the serious cigar connoisseur or the special occasion smoker. The price makes it affordable to the special occasion smoker as an amazing way to store and showcase their cigars for a great price. The serious smoker can afford this humidor and it is good enough for the serious collector. The hygrometer is very accurate and this humidor can store up to 250 cigars. This amount of storage space is appealing to any serious collector. The Spanish cedar trays resist mold and mildew and create a perfect decor for the price making it perfect to tie into your home decor. I love the sleek design it fits right in with our room decor. I loved how easy this humidor was to set up. It took less than a day to get it ready which is great for my busy life. My only tip would be watch your humidity level as this humidor holds humidity extremely well. The images below show you a bit more about what to look for in your humidity level. I prefer 72 degrees but 70 is the recommended humidity. Also below is a labeled guide to help with different parts of the humidor for set up. The gauges are all easy to see and read and the touchtone dial makes changing temperature simple with the touch of a button. The lock and key is great for keeping out cigar thieving buddies. I always end up missing a few when family come now at least they will have to ask. I highly recommend this humidor.
