It is a very attractive unit fits in nicely in my man cave. It seems to hold the humidity quite well. I changed the water cup & use humidor chemical beads jar instead,It takes up less room & works in my opinion much better than distilled water. I have used these in all of my humidors, this is my first electric cooler type Well worth the money I paid for it.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This is a follow up to my previous review. After posting bad review support commented that I should contact them so they could make me a happy customer. After me having to send multiple emails back and forth with them, they came to the conclusion that the unit was bad and then wanted to charge me for the part, and I could try to change it out myself. I believe they should have replaced the unit, as this is two bad units in 18 months. I definitely do not recommend the product, but it seems others have had better luck than I.

Great humidor!

Switched from a traditional cedar humidor to this bad boy and I'm very satisfied. It maintains the temperature and holds in humidity like a champ.

I waited over a year to write this review

I have had this unit for over a year now. I have had absolutely no problems at all. It's quiet, it has a great seal and maintains temperature very well. I see people say the hygrometer is accurate. I have yet to see an analog hygrometer that is accurate. It's a nice decoration on a desktop humidor. But, buy a good quality digital hygrometer for peace of mind. I use Heartfelt Beads, 1/2 lb., as humidification and only need to recharge after the winter months. I maintain 64%-68% humidity. It's not quite a 250 count unit, the way it arrives. I have, roughly, 75 robusto's in the drawer now. The shelves don't hold many loose cigars and less if stored in their original boxes (That is not a complaint). Functionality over quantity. I'm not a collector, I'm a smoker. That's why I can't fit another flippin' cigar in the unit. lol I have many cigars that are now aged over a year and they just keep tasting better as I go. I am considering the unit with heater. Because, I'm a cheap sob during the winter. I do agree with people stating, "Once full, the lights aren't much help". But, who cares? I don't want people attracted to it. Then, they tend to want to open it and gawk. Stay Smokey......

Bought the CC-100H in Oct 2019, has worked flawlessly since I've had it. This holds temperature and humidity great. I turn down the heat at night in the house and the unit may fluctuate 1 degree in temperature and 1% in humidity but this only happens on really cold nights, I live in the north. This is a hassle free humidor, shut it and forget it. I use Boveda 60 gram packs and they work great in this unit.
In some of the reviews people are using sponges, which won't work in this unit, its to airtight and you can't control the humidity out-put of a sponge and Oasis style units are over kill for this size humidor. And yes you will need to buy a better electronic hydrometer but they're inexpensive.
This will hold 250 Churchill cigars but it will be full top to bottom, it holds 200 Churchill's comfortably with plenty of breathing room, and you want some breathing room.
This is a very good cigar humidor, it holds humidity and temperature excellent and at a very fair price, its as close to hassle free as you can get.
If your thinking of buying one I would recommend it.
