Great Gift but not fullu functionable

I was glad to receive this wireless printer for Christmas. Howver I have not been able to scan anything. SMH

Not worth it

I bought this primarily for scanning, but also to update my printer. The main concern has been with printing. I began having trouble with running out of cyan ink and was purchasing new ink at least once a month. I am not a high volume printer and usually just print word documents that dont contain pics. The company tried to assure me this was normal and seemed to doubt what I was printing. The reps on the phone fumbled with their questions and often made comments about other models that did not pertain to mine. I had to be transferred to another rep because I was a mac user (not a pc). Fine for a scanner, but rip off for printing and tech support is awful.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Perfect machine. My only complain is the screen should be vertical, I have to get up to read instructions.

Our orignal Brother multi-task device quit printing correctly. We called Brother and they said it was a known problem and would send a replacement right away. We recieved the MFC-J415w in a couple of days and it is great. I LOVE the wireless capability! Not having to go hook up to the printer everytime you need something printed is awesome.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great All-In-One!

I am very pleased with my new MFC-J415w printer/fax/scanner. It was a breeze to install, and it works beautifully. I needed help with configuring it to work with my telephone/answering machine, and tech support gave me immediate answers. I would recommend Brother and this model.
