I have always heard about Brothers reputation. Unfortunately, I had to return this printer. I never got it to work. It constantly jammed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Superior quality, excellent value

This printer was very easy to set up and operate, and delivers high quality prints while connected to a wireless network. It prints excellent pictures. I bought 2 Brother MFC printers 3 years ago and they still produce the same high quality copies and prints as when they were new. I expect the same results from the new printer.

Perfect machine, better than the kodak

I am very happy with this machine, it is the second brother MFC I have had and I will buy another one when the need arises. I was given a Kodak printer for Christmas last year, it lasted til October with much trouble, I then got disgusted and purchased this machine, It was an excellent choice for me.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I got this printer to replace a Lexmark printer that had given me problems from the day I got it. My new MFC-J415W was easy to install and set up and worked out of the box. The ink cartridges are less expensive too.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I am very pleased with my printer. It is the first time using a wireless printer and I think it is fantastic. My wife can use the same printer from her computer. No need to bother me each time she wants to print something.
I like the idea of having individual cartridges for the different inks. And the ease of replacing the cartridges is great.
Overall I would rate this printer with a big 5.0
