Impressive Dishwasher

We retired a 17 year old dishwasher for this one even though it was still going strong. The first thing that I noticed about the LG Studio SDWB24S3 dishwasher at the LG website is that it is recommended by Consumer Reports, which for its price is very unusual.
Operationally for us, the major things to like begins with a 1-Hour Wash & Dry. Dishes come out clean and drier with less heat and steam at the end of the cycle. The door opens quieter with less effort, and the racks move easily. Plus 40dBA is quiet. The Time Remaining Indicator and SignalLight Cycle Indicator Lights tells us where it is in the cycle.
Cleaning is enhanced by 3 spray ams and QuadWash Pro instead of two fixed arm blades. The Rinse-Aid Indicator takes the guess work out of consistent ingredients for washing, and the Hidden Water Heater assures good results.
Appearance things like NeveRust Stainless Steel Tub, PrintProof Stainless Steel makes it easy to live with and keeps it looking beautiful. The Stainless Steel Towel Bar Handle is something my wife has wanted for when she is working in the kitchen.
Quality items like the Inverter Direct Drive Motor is superior to other drive mechanisms like belts, and Leak Detection gives you peace of mind.
Extras to like are LED Tub Lights, ENERGY STAR rating, and generous warranties.
In summary, the look, feel, and sound, of this dishwasher are totally impressive.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Does not clean dishes. I tried not scraping clean, rinse, and clean before, but a few dishes always come out dirty. Does not matter if there is few dishes or not or fully loaded or not. I have to inspect all the dishes before i put them away. We figured out we leave it on HEAVY mode no matter what. That seems to fix it but still
