Excellent sound quality, comfort and style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing product, super slick looking, comfort, stylish, and the noise canceling is phenomenal. My son is a HUGE gamer and these are by far his favorite headphones. The color scheme compliments the style.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good soundstage, directionality & tone. Bass can over power midrange & vocals with the flat EQ but represents explosions well in game. Mic quality is good. ANC works well. Spatial sound hollows out the sound but gives a really good sense of space and 3D postion in game. Head tracking could be a cool feature with VR but seems pointless in a normal desk or couch setup.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Unboxing experience tells you a lot about a product and JBL takes the time to build in quality feel to their products. Everything is packaged neatly an thoughtfully. The headset comes with a storage pouch that is soft an feels of quality. The cables included are also of quality an feel great. The headset itself has soft touch padding for the ears an head and is very comfortable on your head. I had no issues with extending playtime with these. They feel solid, no creaking like cheaper materials would do. The microphone works wonderfully in game an for calls. The dual connection/dual audio feature is nice. I game on an xbgox an the included dongle that connects to a back usb pairs up with the headphones rather quickly. I've experienced no hiccups with connections. In game sound is well balanced an weighted. The boom is there but so is detail in mid an high ranges. They are a pleasure to listen to in game. If you so choose, these also provide a visual flare to those around you with lighting modes. Shine in game an out :) Game on!

Solid look and feel

The dongle aspect is confusing to me but I think I have figured out how to connect the headphones with Bluetooth. The earphones light up, which is cool but may seem unprofessional if used for conference calls on camera.

Amazing sound and features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly this headset suprised me. Just pulling it out of the box was great, the packaging was amazing. The build quality is actually awesome, the outside of the ear muffs are made of metal and also light up. The battery life is great and so is the sound. Amazing Bass as to be expected with many JBL items, and a clear mic. They do have a little weight to them, but when compared to how well they work, sound, and feel, it's nothing. The leather for the ear muffs feels durable and its super soft for maximum noise cancelation. I also like that the box includes all cables, adapters and a carrying bag for storage. The headset works with the JBL app too so I can change all the settings and update any firmware. It also works like a normal set of bluetooth headphones so I can use them with my phone too and just listen to high-res music.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My ears hurt

I got these headphones to replace a previous pair of wireless headphones. Immediately I noticed I had downgraded: both the master volume and the game/chat balance are on the left earphone, making it difficult to adjust by feel (also the wheels are too sensitive so you can accidentally mess up the balance while trying to adjust volume).
And speaking of volume.. every status notification these headphones make is made at FULL BLAST instead of respecting your current volume setting. So you do NOT want to wear them when turning them on or off, because the sound played by doing that will destroy your eardrums. Such an amateurish mistake is unacceptable.
Further, my friends tell me that my audio quality in voice calls took a marked turn for the worse when I started using this headset. So the microphone is probably crap too.

I bought this head set for my adult son fro Christmas. He is not the easiest person to please especially when it comes to his gaming. So, his response when i asked about how he liked the headset was quite a surprise for me. This is a direct quote,"The headset, is very nice. It's exactly what I needed. The noise cancellation is amazing! I never thought it could work so well." So needless to say I was very happy to hear this and, so should you be.
