I bought one of these and these bought several for my friends. Although 130 lumens doesn't sound impressive it is plenty. The beam focuses well and can illuminate objects quite a ways away. Spread out, the beam can illuminate a broad area at a shorter range. At all settings the beam is very even.
There are more powerful flashlights but how much flashlight do you need? Super bright lights can destroy your low light vision for several minutes. Chances are you can see everything you need to with this light and it will not take your eyes as long to recover nor will things outside of the beam be plunged into complete darkness. Given the same efficiency lens, reflector and light source, and all decent flashlights are very close in these areas, more light means using more batteries.
For most of my use, this flashlight is perfect. I haven't tested the waterproofness or bashed it around but I think this flashlight is at the top of the performance/price scale.

Almost the best flashlight ever

I own 5 or 6 of these little flashlights and there awesome there the perfect brightness and they last for 3long hrs my only complaint is the clip I love that it clips on my hat but the clip comes off the flashlight to easy if they would make it a sleeve that locks on with the battery cap that would make the clip perfect in my opinion the only other problem is the on of tail button it doesn't always work and that's with all 5 or 6 that I have not just one or 2 I work night shift and I work on my cars at night alot of long nights in the front yard turning wrenches and this works perfectly tipicly 2 batterys will get me through a night fix the clip and the end cap and I won't go to lumintop or ultratac a1 v2 or stream light protac 1l-1aa or thrunite
