Great light does what I want is bright for size of you use 3.7v rechargeable it is pretty bright,.
Only complaints is it is not as bright as the hp1 that this flashlight replaced on there market and the red ring on the tail cap so I use a old hp1 cap also doesn't have the anti roll thing so it will roll off a uneven surface

I love the size. and the adjustable beam size. and a single battery that lasts a long time. It even went through the washing machine a couple of months ago and somehow still works fine. I just bought 2 more to keep in our cars.

Have many Coast lights of all types. HX5 is my main go to flashlight for work or play. Versatile. Fits in your pocket, on a baseball cap, easy to handle, peek in tight places, easy to wear or store anywhere. Plenty enough light for all the things you need to see in the dark. Reliable! Great warranty. Couldn't ask for more.

Awesome little light. As a nighttime Linehaul driver this flashlight comes in handy performing a pre and post trip. Also the hat clip for rainy weather comes in handy.

Fantastic flashlight

This is my second HX5 that I’ve owned. The first one lasted for about six years being used heavily every day. I plan on using my second one and the same manner and getting the same results. This things takes a beating and keeps going.

Tough EDC Light

I have carried this light daily in many environments for almost a decade. The light began to fail to light and required some percussive maintenance on occasion to correct the issue. I reported the issue and was sent a replacement.
