I have had 3 of these lights now. 2 were sent as warranty replacements. The switch failed on all of them within weeks of receiving them. COAST needs to update the design to address this issue. You should not buy this light if you need something dependable because it will leave you in the dark.

I have had a lot of light but when I'm at work and need to have a reliable light that's durable I have a coast either the hx5 or the G32 I have others but these two are life savers

Great product first class customer service. My HX5 lasted 4 years and the tail cap switch began to fail. I emailed a photo and explained the problem. They sent me a brand new light. I use this light daily as a facility manager. I have complete confidence in coast lights.

Will not stay on

I bought this yesterday. It took me 1 hour just to get it out of the packaging. Then I tried to turn it on but you have to keep holding in the button. Useless. I want my money back
