Charging port problems

I've had this phone for just over a year. All was well with it until a couple of updates ago. After the update, I was getting an error message that there was moisture in the charging port. There isn't any moisture or anything, such as dust, in the port. Luckily, I'm able to charge it on a wireless charger that I had to buy, otherwise I would have to buy a new phone. I have a friend that had the same problem with his Samsung phone, a different model, but still the same problem. His phone doesn't charge wireless, but his was under warranty and he was able to get a new one. I wonder if anyone else has been having this problem?!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is a preventative measure added to avoid corrosion, and you will still be able to charge with a wireless charger on supported devices. A popup message will display in the event a charger is plugged in while moisture is present in the charging port. Products sold by Samsung are warranted against manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for the limited 12-month warranty period specified for each product. We also provide the option to add additional coverage with Samsung Care+ on eligible devices, which offers extended protection and additional support. Great phone

I have been using Samsung Smart phones for about ten years, this phone is a fantastic example of design and engineering. Easy to setup and use. Fast and reliable. I highly recommend Samsung products from the cellphone to the TV and computer.

I've had my Galaxy S23 for some time now and it is a great Smart Phone. First, there is the size. Big phones don't always fit into pockets, but my S23 does. The battery power is excellent and I've never had it run short of power in a single day - even at Disneyworld. I take a lot of pictures and videos becuase the camera is easy to use and the picture quality is better than almost any other phone. I use it every day and my phone still looks like new.
