This is my first experience with a Brother Label Printer, I used to own a Dymo Labelmaker. I switched because the Brother stated that it was wireless. I am still getting use to the software and different options that the Brother has. Overall, I would say that it prints very nicely, but i need to become more experienced with the software.
After previously have two other QL printers, I thought that installing the 810W would be a snap. WRONG! After downloading software and drivers three times, I still cannot get it to print. I plan to call help desk next week
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Brother in exchange for my honest opinion/review of the product. The label printer is ideal for at-Home businesses - I actually make labels for small packaging of products and for envelopes. This printer allows me to print the labels fast right at my dining room table. Super easy to use- only thing I wish were different were more color choices, as a part-time party planner I`d like the option of more colors not just the red & black.
I am using this printer at my church. I am connecting the Amazon tablet to the printer wirelessly. The tablet finds the printer but is constantly having a hard time to connect.
Bought battery and works great, no wires when using on the counter. Battery really lasts a long time and enough printer tape on a roll to do a lot of labels. Best of all no ink cartridges. A very dependable unit. Even hooked to my iPhone.
Very poor instructions. Could not get it to link with my laptop. Went online to brother to try and figure it out. Website was not helpful either. Definitely would not buy again. Went back to my ql 700 with a USB cable, just have to plug in printer when I get ready to do labels.
