Doesnt support 3rd party labels

You can tell DYMO are owned by private equity...
3rd party labels no longer work
RFID chips on every DYMO branded roll and printer is designed to only accept DYMO branded rolls.....Which are 10 times the price of 3rd party ones.
Had my 450 printer for 5 years, was an absolute workhorse.
Now switching to another manufacturer

The last printers they made worked great but with the new one they make you pay there outrageously priced labels.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

NOT COMPATIBLE WITH LABEL SOFTWARE! Why does this label printer even exist? Why would you not make it backward compatible with a software that has API compatibility to many ERP systems???
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This Dymo printer is not so good. Like the older model you could use any kind of labels, No anymore with this model.

Say NO to DRM Paper!!!

DRM Paper is the worst concept in the history of printers. I should NOT be forced to buy DYMO only brand labels. I've switched all 500+ of my label printers from DYMO to a competitor because of this. Do better.

Easy and Simplistic Label Maker

Works Great! But can only use Dyno brand labels.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Dymo Label printer is very easy to use and install, and a great option for a home office label printer. However it unfortunately is only programmed to read Dymo brand labels so it isn't very cost effective. It's unfortunate because I print a lot of labels and this definitely isn't the best option for small business owners. It really does work great though and comes with a manufacturer warning.
