Smooth print quality

Nice Multi size Labeler

Will definitely make marking things for an upcoming military move a bit more streamline. Easily connected to my laptop and the printing was clear and dark.

Works great when it works, but randomly updates to the incorrect software, does not recognize that I have replaced labels with new roll of Dymo labels and is very finicky. I had a 450 for years that was great. This one has been very annoying the entire time I have owned it. I would not recommend!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Easy to use label maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Dymo LabelWriter 550 is great for someone who just wants a no fuss label maker. It automatically detects the size of the labels you’re using, there are a variety of fonts and sizes you can use, and it uses heat to print so it doesn’t even need any ink, eliminating the need for buying ink. I used it to get organized at home and my office and am going to use it for return address labels on my envelopes next!

The speed and print quality are above par, it takes up hardly no room on a desk or workstation and the noise level is pretty low. All in all, a great pick for label writers.

Avoid!

Product absolutely requires you to use only their labels. Cannot use aftermarket labels. Versatility is absolutely ZERO. Performance with any labels other than theirs SUCKS. Efficiency is virtually nonexistent now. AVOID.

High Quality label maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The printer needs to be set up through a computer. I used my laptop. The actual set up took 5 mins. Super easy. The labels are easy to put it in and get it going. It prints in seconds, and is very quiet. You can pick what kind of font and size.
