Great label maker for the home/office

I gave it 4 stars because the connection is not wireless and you have to download a program to the computer as well. It prints out nicely, I’ve used it for a lot of projects around the office and home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You do have to connect this to a computer but I knew that because I have an old version at home and wanted one for my office. What I didn’t know is that old tape won’t work on the new. I can still use old tape at home - glad I didn’t throw it out. I love the convenience of this model of Dymo label writer

Portable , sleek and effective label maker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Label writer 550 gifted by DYMO is compact with a sleek look. It recognizes the size and type of the label needed which is great feature. It’s a thermal printer and doesn’t use ink or toner. I loved the size of the label maker as it fit perfectly on my office desk. It was easy to setup and use. It prints 4 lines. I can’t wait to use it more.

Sleek, versatile label printer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dymo 550 is a label printer that uses special thermal transfer paper rather than ink or toner. It ONLY works with Dymo brand label rolls. These are plain paper and don’t feel quite as durable as the laminated ones I’ve used with smaller handheld label printers.
The software is essentially a basic word processing package, with lots of options for formatting fonts, spacing, and more. It’s straightforward to use.
There are several different roll sizes, making this a versatile tool for printing a wide range of labels.
The manual and user guide are well-written and informative. Again, just be sure to use genuine Dymo label rolls.

Great addition to our office tools!

I no longer have to purchase labels or hand write my postage when I am sending out my custom tie dye! The setup was a little challenging and I feel like the product isn’t of the highest quality- but it does the job. The labels themselves are quite expensive, but there is the convenience factor you need to consider!

I will be on vacation for a couple of weeks. I will add pictures and a proper review when I get back.
