First of all it will not install correctly with a wired connection and blue tooth feature is a joke. I have only had to show as an option in software one time in a year. Then you have to buy dymo labels only. If I had known that before purchase I never would have purchased. I have a 4XL and 4 Dual Turbo. The release stick came off and now I can only print on one side of the dual turbo. Label feeds but now it will not print from that side. I am a huge Dymo fan. Hopefully my son an electronic engineer can fixt my dual turbo but I consider the 2 Dymo 550 my business purchased a waste of money. And yes I purchased genuine labels and still can't get it to be an option in Dymo Connect or Dymo Label even though it is showing as an installed printer. Even had 2 IT professionals try to resolve issue with no luck. My thoughts models after 550 if Dymo doesn't make other labels an option then businesses are going look for options other than Dymo. I know my business will.

The LabelWriter 550 device doesn't have the feature to connect via Bluetooth or wirelessly. The new-generation printers that are compatible with wireless connections are the LabelWriter 550 Turbo and 5XL, but they are only compatible with computers. The LabelWriter Wireless printer can be connected wirelessly to phones. However, the LetraTag 200B is compatible with Bluetooth connections on phones only.
We recommend the use of DYMO Authentic labels to resolve the excessive feeding, misaligned printing, and label jam issues caused by them. We can guarantee that our labels would work well without these issues.
However, if the labels are not being detected, we recommend cleaning the printer's head and sensors. Kindly visit dymo.com > DYMO Help Center > LabelWriter > How to clean my LabelWriter 5 series printer.

Super easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Setting this up was super easy and quick. It’s not to big so doesn’t take up too much space. Prints labels fast and doesn’t smudge. Would recommend if you have a lot of label printing needs.

So easy to setup and use !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the DYMO labelwriter 550 for free from influesnter to use and give an honest review on the product. It was so easy to set up and use . It has automatic label recognition and keys you see the size and type and number of labels left which is super helpful and it's ink free . I use it for addresses, bar codes, and return labels for work and it's printing so much faster and prints in bulk making it such a faster process and helping me get more work done faster. Plus they're a green business going greener every day. That's always a plus when using paper products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received it and tried to use it as soon I got but it didn’t work.. I downloaded the app and doesn’t recognize it at all .. doesn’t work with your phone either . I was so excited to try it bummed it didn’t work

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Label writer 550 is a really nice label writer! It is easy to set up and easy to put in labels. I am not tech savvy and I was able to figure it out in a few minutes. Labels are a little bit pricey but you also do not buy ink so that is a win! It uses heat instead of ink! You can print address labels and around the house labels with this machine. I work in my office from home and this makes it so easy! Setting up the program on the computer only takes about
2-3 minutes. 10/10 recommend!

Fast and compact

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this from Influenster in exchange for my fair and honest review. This is a very nice label printer that uses thermal paper, so no worries about ink smudging or running out. The app was easy to install and use. The printer is full customizable, you can pick different sizes and fonts to match. I will be using this to print ingredient list/info stickers so the customization and saving templates is really nice. The label maker also came with a roll of address sized labels.
However, one star off because this ONLY runs on their brand name labels, which are on the pricey side.
