Use Dymo Label software for Apple OS and impossible to get the Labelwriter 550 to connect ... Using the software with other Dymo printers elsewhere so not keen in moving all my data to a new software ... Dymo could do a better work making its different products work on same platform and software plus being easier to install

I just can not get this to work, even with there proprietary paper rolls.What a disappointment ! i unsuccessfully tried to download on a Windows 10 .. So I set it up on my mac. The probblems never ended.

What a disappointment

I did miss the fact that this uses exclusive dymo labels, so thats on me. But i never would have even imagined that a company would have created such a limited use device. It is impossible to get dymo labels delivered in time and in the quantity that I need. I needed 50 of these, only to be completely let down... This project failed on all fronts with all thanks to Dymo... Good thing amazon prime will take back all 50 machines. It's too bad dymo isn't a user friendly organization... Time to start finding 50 450's for the next event.

Terrible produce

I bought this after using a 450 for years. Now I'm looking to other companies thermal printers due to how fed up I am with this printer.

You should know better...

To bad, this 'force' to use your labels. This one gets returned. To top it off I cannot even seem to find labels specific to the 550 turbo. So, either you haven't updated your site/product info to represent what works on what, or you simply need to justify keeping "Vernie" onboard to support all of the hatred that is coming with his standard response.
Also, nice survey that only shapes responses. You don't show the "cons" that should really be posted.

I wish I knew sooner

It works well and as it's supposed to. If you're still stuck hand writing names over and over or anything else you NEED one of these you just don't know it yet ;)

I would highly recommend it to my friends and family as well as my other small business friends. Will probably buy a second one for backup incase needed.
