Great Sound

I bought one about three months ago when it was first released and I bought a second just to have a better stereo effect. They link together very easy using the party boost feature but sometimes one cuts out and it has to be re-started. I'm using spotify for the music and I'm nut sure if it's my wifi connection or the Flip5. They sound really clear and well worth buying a second.

Can not connect with my 2 charge 3 speakers.

I bought this flip 5 thinking I could integrate it into my setup to provide music on the deck and inside at the same time. This speaker is not compatible with previous versions. I refuse to buy another JBL speaker at this point.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

JBL Flip 5 has PartyBoost while Charge 3 has Connect. These are two different features of different technologies, which explains why it's not possible to link them together.

Great Speaker

I just got the Flip 5 and I love it. The only thing is, is that I got mine customized, I really like that the custom design was pretty close to the image itself. The only complaint I have is 2 things. 1. I guess from the print of designing the speaker smells horrible like print (because of the custom design). 2. The picture quality feels like 720p on a TV, aka it’s not super clear but you can still tell what it is. Good job JBL!

This is a great speakers some of the best bang for your buck... the negative side is the usb connection is terrible.. after you insert the charger when you have it for awhile it ,the connection is terrible and you have to go an invent something so you can get it to charge ..it’s never the cord...And last is connecting the speakers so you get the surround sound is always a difficult ..it almost never syncs ....but I still will buy another one

I have had this speaker a couple weeks now. This thing is amazing!! It is really powerful! The battery lasts forever. I wasn’t listening to it loud but I listened to it for about 15 hours and the battery light barely dimmed down. The sound is the best sound I have heard out of a small portable speaker. I had the Bose Soundlink 2 before I upgrade to this and this one is like night and day compared to Bose. Half volume is the same as full volume on the Bose. Bose is a really good speaker but this is way better! I’m a musician so I like great sounding music. My only complaint is that it doesn’t float! I take it out on my boat and wish it would float but it doesn’t. Wish they would have made it to where if it fell into the water it wouldn’t sink to the bottom... but it’s still a 5 star!
