Battery life is HORRIBLE

Everything about the speaker is pretty good other that the bad battery life, I play music for about 5 hours on less then half volume up and it is completely dead by then.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

pretty much a personal speaker

will not connect continually to a computer for its music source.Keeps breaking up horribly, can't listen more than 30 sec. and then snap ,crackle and POP. So if you want want a speaker that only will play off your phone, than this is the one for you.......

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This speaker has excellent battery life and sounds great. The connect feature would be useful but I only have one flip 5. I don't like the fact that the only available way to sit it is on end. The case works well to set it in but it is a little bulky. Bluetooth connectivity works very well.
I had my wife use it to compare to her flip 2. She wasn't crazy about the moving ends. Her speaker has fixed ends which she liked better. She was very interested in the longer battery life.
Overall this is a great speaker. I compared it to my charge 2 and the bass is not as good. Battery life is much better. This is a nice addition to JBLs Bluetooth speaker lineup but there are not many bells and whistles compared to the existing speakers.

This speaker is amazing, it’s extremely loud and has great sounding. I’ve dropped it a ton of times and it’s still working at its best!! I really recommend this speaker

OK, was not expecting this little speaker to rock this much! I have had several small blue tooth speakers (several Jambox speakers for one) in my life. This one not only looks good, but sounds amazing too. Super easy to use and connect to phone.

disappointing

Very disappointing! I bought the speaker yesterday. And there are constantly background noises (like at the beach). And every few seconds the noise of two unrelated tunes. There are detachments for half a second which is very annoying. I would expect a company like jbl for a more reliable product. Very disappointed with this speaker. Does not match the expectation and does not seem to be sufficiently level, probably not for the price I paid
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
