I got this as a gift for my husband and he absolutely loves. He’s like a five year old with his favorite toy, taking it everywhere. I mean everywhere- thank god it’s waterproof or else the shower would have killed it. Despite using it all day, he hasn’t drained the battery yet. Just sports radio. All. Day. Long. (Really my only regret.) Definitely worth every penny.

I was expecting perhaps too much of an increase in performance over the flip 4. The flip 5 sound really good for the size. But to me, about the same as the 4. I was surprised to learn that the “party mode” won’t work between the flip 4 and 5. It’s called connect+ on the 4 and won’t work with the 5’s “party mode”. I wish the range of the party mode was a bit larger as well. The connection between flip5’s would start to degrade at about 20 feet with absolutely nothing in the way. Overall, this is an awesome bluetooth speaker for it size.

This was the first speaker I've ever purchased and I am very happy with my decision! It's been super easy to cary around with me and I'm not worried about it getting rained on which is such a nice feature. I would recommend this to anyone who just wants a portable, not bulky speaker to have around. Also EXTREMELY easy to set up!
