I purchased two of the Flip 3's and both had issues, now the second one has stopped working. Great sound but where is the quality, they are not that old. 2017 purhcased both units, so the units should not be failing and not warranty on the speakers now. JBL products should last and last within reason.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I can't believe I didn't own this product sooner, cleanest bass tones that hit hard! Perfect for any occasion/activity
I personally have a bottle mount on my bike and my Flip 5 fits right into it so I take my music with me! And finally I can shower with the music as loud and as bass as I want it to be! This was easily the best purchase made this year.

Love the sound, but does not hold charge!

Purchased Xtreme 2 prior to Flip 5, which had great sound, figured portable version would be great. Sound is great...but holds max 4 hr charge...and takes a log time to charge!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
